H.E. Dr. Maitha salem Alshamsi

アラブ首長国連邦国務大臣の職にあり、国民の母(Mother of the Nation）評とされるシェイカ・ファティマ・ビント・ムバラク皇太后のアドバイザーも務めている。
社会学博士であり、科学研究に強い関心を持ち、さまざまな社会分野で高く評価をされている研究者として、UAE 大学副学長（科学研究担当）を長年務め、最新の著書『ファティマ・ビント・ムバラク: 思想と行動の啓示』（Illuminations in Thought and Action）をはじめ、女性、人口、開発の分野で多数の書籍や調査研究を執筆している。
また、専門家として数々の科学会議に参加し、西アジア経済社会委員会(ESCWA)、国際連合婦人開発基金(UNIFEM)、国際連合教育科学文化機関(UNESCO)、国連難民高等弁務官事務所(UNHCR)を含む複数の国連機関と連携する他、数多くの国際会議でUAE の代表を務め、さまざまな国際委員会、地域委員会、地域委員会の一員としても多大な貢献をしてきた。
現在は、UAE-日本女性のキャリア開発に向けた友好委員会の理事を務める他、アラブオープン大学の理事会メンバーでもある。

Her Excellency Dr. Maitha Salem Al Shamsi currently serves as a Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates and as an Advisor to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, "Mother of the Nation."
She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and is an esteemed researcher in various social fields, with a strong interest in scientific research. She previously served as Vice Chancellor for Research at the United Arab Emirates University.
Dr. Al Shamsi has authored numerous books and research studies in the fields of women, population, and development, including her latest book, Fatima bint Mubarak: Illuminations in Thought and Action.
She has also participated as an expert in several scientific conferences and collaborated with multiple United Nations organizations, including ESCWA, UNIFEM, UNESCO, and the UNHCR. Additionally, she has represented the UAE in numerous international conferences.
Dr. Al Shamsi has made significant contributions through her membership in various international, regional, and local committees. Currently, she chairs the UAE-Japan Friendship Committee for Women’s Career Development and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University.
Her distinguished expertise in development, education, and national project management has earned her prestigious awards, including:

米スタンフォード大学地球物理学科博士課程修了。

Over 21 years on the global energy industry, joined Obayashi in 2024,with a mission to grow the Green Energy division globally.
She grew up in Japan, South Africa, Singapore, and US,and has a PhD from Stanford University in Geophysics.
Her life mission is to buld a sustainable future through revitalization of green economy for the future our our children.
